Thank you for your interest to present a free educational Seminar in Ayurveda. Seminars are available to the general public, and our NAMA members. Seminar's are held monthly on the fourth Monday of the month at 5:00pm PST/8:00pm EST. We generally have 50-150 present. This is a good opportunity for you to share one of your specialties with community and also to gain exposure.

To submit a seminar proposal you please adhere to the specific guidelines. These guidelines ensure that presentations are relevant, professional, and aligned with the professional development standards for NAMA and NAMACB.

Submission Guidelines

1. Required Submission Materials:

  • Presenter Information:
    a. Include first and last name
    b. Credentials
    c. Email address
    d. Professional headshot (.JPEG or .PNG)
    e. Resume/CV (.pdf)

  • Presentation Title: Final titles cannot be changed post-submission.
  • Professional Biography: A brief biography (50-word maximum).
  • Abstract: A concise summary (50-word maximum).
  • Learning Objectives: Three to five objectives (50-word maximum).
  • Methodology: Description of teaching methods (50-word maximum).
  • Results: Outcomes or findings (50-word maximum).
  • Conclusions: Key takeaways (75-word maximum).
  • References: Cite sources.

2. Submission Process:

  • Agreement: Upon acceptance, you will be required to read, accept, and sign a presenter’s agreement.
  • In-Person Commitment: Presenters must commit to presenting at the date decided on. If you are unable to present, please cancel no less than 30 days prior to the date of the presentation.
  • Handouts: Submit your completed slides in the proposal or mandatory 2 weeks before presentation.
  • Handouts/Slides assist attendees in following your presentation and/or taking notes.
  • Research references must be included in the slides and handouts.
