Applying for Student Membership

For Student Membership, NAMA defines a qualifying student as: 

  1. Actively enrolled in a qualifying Ayurveda educational program that awards degrees or “certificates of completion”  that will lead to a 600+ hour program at the Ayurvedic Health Counselor level or above
  2. Enrolled in a program with the intention of continuing that program for at least three (3) months at the time of applying for Student Membership
  3. Enrolled in a U.S.-based Ayurveda program
  4. That such program is structured to be completed within a specified time frame, not to exceed three (3) years for AHC, AP, and AYT students and four (4) years for AD students.

Student applicants who are not attending a NAMA Recognized (AHC AP AD AYT) program must fill out and return the Student Confirmation form below:

  1. Download the fillable PDF form. Save it to your desktop. Fill in the “Student Information” section.
  2. Send the saved form to your school administrator to have the “School Information” section of the form completed, signed and returned. Please have the school administrator return the Student Confirmation form to NAMA directly at [email protected].  

After reviewing the criteria above, please complete the Student Membership Application here.

Once your account application has been approved (and Student Confirmation form has been returned for those attending a program that is not NAMA Recognized) NAMA will be process you for Student Membership. If you have any questions, please contact us here. Thank you.
